| in the 80's but then ditched them for MAF setups because they were more accurate and were able to adapt to real world conditions. I know for track cars MAP cars can be setup optimally for the track conditions you're on, etc. but for a street (daily driven) car you lose the ability for the ECU to adapt depending on conditions. At least that's the way I think it works...
